I called his med onc. and am waiting for a call back. I looked it up online and it said that it could be anything from a bladder infection to bladder cancer. Anyone had this before? Don Wood Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 Has your dad had any prostate treatments, like radiation or rotorooter? Sometimes, this can cause bleeding several years later. Calintay Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 I just had this happen. I had flank pain and blood in my urine I was told be seen it may be a kidney stone or infection. My Father told me this afternoon it was actually some blood in his stool, not urine. The doctor had called me back to ask if the hospice nurse been by to see him and she hasn't. Snowflake Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 Dude, blood in the stool isn't great, either. Blood isn't supposed to visibly come out of the holes in the body...
