KatieB
Hello LCSC members, I've have been working on this for quite some time now and it is finally ready! We are live ! We will be adding easy access buttons to this website soon, but here is a preview and you guys can get started on your own webpage (Care Page) as soon as you're ready!!! CarePages are free, private, personalized Web pages available to members of the LUNG CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY that help you stay in touch before, during and after treatments, a hospital stay, or any time care giving is needed. The service allows you control over communication and provides an easy way for friends and loved ones to respond with messages of support. CarePages provide a convenient way to keep loved ones updated. You can share photos, contact information, and relay information when the time is right for you. Friends and loved ones can visit your CarePage and be kept up-to-date on your condition and provide you with emotional support. Click on the link to get started!!! www.carepages.com/lcsc

KatieB
Awesome!! I think this is great! A central place to do what it is you need to do whether it's a personal spot to update family during treatment, chronical the cancer journey, or just blog and gripe! It's a good tool. You can set security measures and keep it private or keep it public. Everyone must register before they can view anything, this way everyone is tracked and no one can harass or mess with your page or you. There is no open "searching" option so people can't just randomly search for your page- they must know the exact name of your carepage. I think that gives you a bit of privacy as well! Check out the "manager tools" on your carepage to edit, add and track who was visiting your page! I hope everyone enjoys it. Hugs,
TracyD
This is great! I set up my page but I haven't yet journaled anything. purplelady47
I am such a lemming 1. Go to www.carepages.com 2. Click "Visit a CarePage" 3. Register (first-time users only) 4. After you've registered, enter the exact CarePage Name below: LivingLifeAbundantly I haven't updated anything yet, but I did post a photo. I've been using a Yahoo group to keep my friends/family informed of my treatment and trying to keep my treatment out of my blog. I think I will find this CarePage much better than the yahoo group. Thanks so much Katie for setting this up. I do believe I am going to like it very, very much! Major hugs, Pam in FL
