Below is an announcement I put in our local paper's community events section (it will run closer to the walk time). If you could copy this and e-mail it to your local paper asking them to run it towards the end of October we would really appreciate it. If you have a team insert your team name in. We would like this to go in papers all over the United States. Thanks guys!

LUNG CANCER WALK – Proceeds benefit LUNGevity and go directly to lung cancer research. The Boston Walk welcomes anyone who wishes to Satellite Walk with their event. Satellite Walkers can walk in their own town/city on November 11th- where and how far they walk is entirely up to them. To be a Satellite Walker all you need to do is register on the website. You can participate as an individual or join a team. All registered walkers receive a T-shirt from the Boston event. November is Lung Cancer Awareness month. For more information go to
