Boston, MA, October 08, 2006 --(PR.COM)-- Icon in his native Israel, Emmy-winning composer, veteran of the film and music industries; Misha Segal's most rewarding project was playing piano for his mother, Elisabeth, almost daily as she fought lung cancer. She said the music took her away. Elisabeth died on Mother’s Day 2001. What followed was a series of concerts across the country for cancer patients, their family, caregivers and supporters, called Beauty Found in Unlikely Places. Each city provided Misha a media platform to educate the public on the truth about lung cancer: that it kills more people than breast, colon, prostate, liver and kidney cancer combined, and that one need not be a smoker to be affected. Unfortunately, we are arriving home from a weeks vacation on the night of the 21st and just can't swing getting into Boston. It sounds like a great event. I'd love to hear from anyone who attends.
