betty boop
My doctors agreed that I should have these vaccines. So I had them both yesterday. Now I am running a fever 100.5 and chilling. Took tylenol and temp went down to 99 a few minutes ago. Got a call into family practioner, he is to call me back around 9 pm tonight. Anyone else experience "side effects" of vaccines? Don Wood
I think it is common to have reactions like that. I have flue like symptoms the first time I took the shot. After that, I have had no problem from year to year. Don
rvillella
I always get a fever and chills when I have to take the Flu Shot. It may be psycosomatic but I still have them. Ralph
kamataca
We always call it a 'bad case of the flu shot." Much better than the actual flu, of course. I think it is really smart that you checkied in with your Dr. Keep us posted! Kelly

Snowflake
Pneumonia shot: Can't remember, was more than a month ago (three years) Flu shot: Headache, body ache, lethargy and diarrhea (diarrhea and lethargy don't mesh well). Still better than a week flat on my back with all the symptoms. PS - I believe the literature says to contact your health care provider if you have a fever over a certain point. Hope you're feeling better soon!
