Bev'sSister
My sister just finished her 2nd round of Chemo. She mentioned to the Dr. that she had pain in her back last night. He has scheduled her for a bone scan tomorrow. Does this necessarily mean that the cancer has spread to her bones?
Larry
Bobby that does not mean that it is in her bone's as the chemo could be the culprit......

Marco Jo
Hi Bobby- My Sis also gets back pain around chemo time. She gets a very painful spasm in her back. They have done bone scans etc, but found nothing. So she takes muscle relaxants and pain med just when it hurts. It usually kicks in right when she starts a new round, but last time I think it happened right before. I hope this is helpful. Good luck, Marco Jo
dchurchi
Bobby, Alan occassionally complains of pretty significant back pain and to date all his bone scans have been clear.
