Steph74
There are only a few states that have declared November as Lung Cancer Awareness month - my mother sent Gov Blagojevich(ILLINOIS) her story, and asked him to declare it in Illinois. Today she received a "proclamation" with a raised seal declaring Nov 2006 as Lung Cancer Awareness Month in Illinois. Every little bit counts right? Glad I voted for him today! wyogirl
That's awesome! I will write to my gov. and see what happens. Thanks for the inspiration!
Kasey
You are right, Steph. EVERY little bit DOES help. I sent to PA's governor. I got a nice packet of 'stuff' and a letter saying it has been 'presented' whatever that means. No proclamation as of now though Good job, Mom! Martha02
People need to be more aware what lung cancer can do to us. And how many people this horrible disease strike. More money needs to be put in to find the cure. We just got a new governor Will see what he can do. Take care! martha
