Ann Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Which brings out the most love at Christmas for you....giving or recieving? Quote
Geri Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 In most instances it's the giving, but when it's a gift that has been made/chosen especially for me by someone special to me it can also be in the receiving. Geri Quote
dchurchi Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 By far giving. I love spoiling my nieces. They are at the ages they know what they want so one comes armed with her cataloges the other with her list all color coded, most desired in one color ect ect. They bring me such joy as I do not have any children of my own. Quote
Don Wood Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Giving, especially when their face lights up on unwrapping the present. I have to say, I also enjoy receiving when my face lights up. My daughter is taking me somewhere Sunday as my present and it is all a surrpise. It has gotten my spirits up, and I am also glad she is getting into the spirit, too. Don Quote
Ry Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Giving-- especially when you find just the right gift for someone and it is a complete surprise. I am so excited to give one of my presents this year--it is just too cool. John bought Jillian heeleys--those tennis shoes with a wheel on the heel and I can't wait to see her face when she opens them. She's been asking for them for awhile. Quote
Larry Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 For me no if and's or but's it's Giving..... Quote
kamataca Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 No question on the giving, but this is the first year that our kids are picking out the presents for us "all by themselves"--I'm really curious to see what they pick. Kelly Quote
