Sorry to read about Joel's pain and ER trip, but being pain-free for the New Year sounds like a great start to 2007. Glad things are under control for him now.

We were told that, yes it's possible to get pneumonia even with the shot (mom hadn't missed getting those for years before all of her journey with this and she still battled pneumonia so we asked once).

Take care of yourself -- you're such a good caregiver and advocate.
