After 6 years and 3 months out w.o. problems, my onc actually volunteered "it looks like you've got this stuff beat". My docs have always been stingy with good words about my prognosis. Then last October my lung doc smiled at me at the end of our meeting and said "things are looking more and more positive". (He is usually so serious). Now my onc stops just short of telling me I'm cured. I feel like a new woman today. Can I believe this nightmare just might be over?
