teriw Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Hi everyone, Someone suggested this before, so I won't take credit for the idea. What do you all think of establishing a weekly prayer time just for all of us here at LCSC? That way we all know in advance. Off the top of my head, maybe Tuesdays at 19:00 GMT (that's 11:00 AM here in Los Angeles). I'm thinking that's early enough to include our U.K. friends and late enough so our Hawaii friends don't have to set their alarm clocks unnecessarily! Maybe we come up with a couple times in case one doesn't work for some people. What do you think? For those of you like my husband who can't figure out time zones, here's a link: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ Quote
mary colleen Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I think it's a good idea to establish a steady day/time, and 1900 GMT works well for me. Quote
ernrol Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Sounds good to me. Maybe we could have people post prayer request in advance. Set a time to have request in. A request to keep them short would also help. It would be nice to include some praise. Stay positive, Ernie Quote
needhope Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I'm all for it. I always come in on the scheduled times too late so a steady time each week would work well for me. Thanks for organizing. Rochelle Quote
teriw Posted February 8, 2007 Author Posted February 8, 2007 I like the idea of prayer requests, Ernie. Maybe if the first person with a specific need starts a topic titled "Prayer requests for {insert prayer date}," then people could add onto it through the Monday beforehand? P.S. You look the picture of health at the race. LOVE IT!!! Quote
recce101 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 [teriw] ...maybe Tuesdays at 19:00 GMT... Hawaii is go for launch! Aloha, Ned Quote
