LindaMRG Posted October 5, 2003 Share Posted October 5, 2003 Dear Friends, On Tuesday, 10/7 my father will go in for a biopsy of the supraclavical node the surgeon found (which is not on any tests, PET/CT reads "head and neck unremarkable") If it is not cancerous, he will stay overnight for surgery in the morning - upper right lobectomy and mediastinal dissection. If it is cancerous, no surgery. We are sending up BIG PRAYERS that this node is not cancerous (surgeon said could be calcification) and he goes ahead with a successful surgery on Wednesday 10/8.
