Thyroid nodules

Anyone have a thyroid nodule show up during a PET scan that were found to be mets?

My last scan reflected a 8mm nodules with an suv of 8. The onco is not concerned about it at this point and we will rescan in 2 months. The nodule was present 2 months prior but didn't have a suv uptake.

Of course, I feel comfortable waiting (on most days), other days the fear jumps out and I have to ask the question to my fellow comrads.
