update on Alan/Radiation Finished!!!

Recommended Posts

Well I am very happy to report Alan had his last

radiation treatment this morning :P:P . Alan had

the typical side effects, Fatigue, loss of appetite,

lost about 9 pounds and had some nasty radiation burn.

The early indiactions are that the treatments zapped

the H*LL out of the tumor and is considered a success.

We will now concentrate on getting weight back on him

and building up his strength. Follow up scans in about 4-6 weeks.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers through

this latest battle with the beast.

Hi Deb,

I said it privately -- might as well say it publicly too. CONGRATULATIONS!!! So happy it looks like the treatment did the job. Get those milkshakes flowing and that weight back up!

While I'm here, thanks so much for all the support you've given me. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's a made a huge difference knowing you're there. Reading Alan's and your story is an inspiration to everyone in the fight.
