karenlaureti Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 Hi all, Wanted to check in to see if anyone has input on the metallic taste that my Dad has been having and a very dry throat. Thirsty a lot! He has been through all his chemo and radiation (the tumor in lung is gone) and is now going through PCI. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Ann Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 Sorry your Dad is having these issues. I think the metallic taste is fairly common, although very annoying. enyaw061032 Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 Hello,Karen: I just wanted to let you know that I had and still have a metal taste in my mouth every morning and until about mid afternoon. And dry mouth, but think that is because I'm not drinking enough water or otherliquids. The doctor said the metal taste was probably from some of my medicines.
