teetlee
Hello, I'm new to this board. I received an intresting letter this weekend and thought some of you here would find it interesting also. The FDA has informed AstraZeneca that they will be taking up to an additional 90 days, until May 5, 2003, to review the new drug application for Iressa as a treatment for advanced NSCLC after disease progression following chemo. It would still be available on a compassionate use basis. I took Iressa in a clinical trial and didn't have good results. I know some have had improvement or stability of their disease. So it does help some.
