Dana, I am so sorry that your Mom has passed. I know she was so proud of you and the way you took care of her. I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing how much your Mom loved you and how proud of you she was and still is. Take care of yourself and stay in touch.

Love, Bobby

I'm so sorry, Dana. I met your Mom and she was a wonderful woman who loved her family very much (she talked so much about you).

My prayers and blessings,

Alisa

i got this from a friend and thought it was beautiful

I'm Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,

I'm following the path God laid for me;

I took His hand when I heard Him call

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day

to laugh, to love, to work, to play;

tasks left undone must stay that way.

I found that place at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,

the fill it with remembering joy,

a friendship shared, a laugh a kiss;

Ah, yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow;

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I've savored much,

good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief,

lift up your heart and share with me.

God wanted me now- He set me free.

We read this @ my Step-Dad's Funeral who also died from lung cancer 2.5 years ago. May you find peace and comfort in your family. I am very very sorry

for the loss of your best friend and Mom

Dana, I am so sorry.

Although I am kind of new around here, reading so many of your wonderful Mother's posts, feeling touched by her beautiful delightful spirit and wit are a gift I feel very grateful for. And you carry that same beautiful spirit within you.

Wishing you comfort in this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
