My husband, my friend, Daniel C Yagle, left us all on Sunday, May 2o, at about 6 pm,from this alwful monster we call lung cancer. He tried for almost three years, tried hard, but lost the battle. My god, Iam so glad he is free!

a friend sent this to me and when i saw your subject " i'm free" that reminded me of this

I'm Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,

I'm following the path God laid for me;

I took His hand when I heard Him call

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day

to laugh, to love, to work, to play;

tasks left undone must stay that way.

I found that place at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,

the fill it with remembering joy,

a friendship shared, a laugh a kiss;

Ah, yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow;

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I've savored much,

good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief,

lift up your heart and share with me.

God wanted me now- He set me free.

I am so, so sorry, Mary. I've followed you story as one from PA, and offer many condolences to you and your family. Together you fought a long and courageous battle. Offering prayers to help you through this time of sadness.
