EastCoastLadi
Dar, I hoping for the best for your mom, I know how you feel, but the dr. and nurses at the hospital will take good care of her and get her rehydrated, I'm sending my prayers for the best for her, take care. trish2418
You're right, Dar -- your mom is where she needs to be right now. The docs and nurses will get her rehydrated and ready to fight again. I'm sending prayers that she's back home and feeling well quickly. Trish
Kasey
I'm glad mom is being well taken care of right now. It's hard to deal with blow after blow, but once she's rehydrated and the thrush is under control, you'll be right back on the path to recovery. KatieB
I'm so sorry Dar, you're right, she's in the best place and they can monitor her there and get her back on track. Am praying for her quick recovery. Hang in there and keep us posted!
laban
Dar, I'm so glad Mom is at the hospital and getting the medical attention she needs. This is exactly what happened to my husband last Memorial Day weekend and he didn't want me to call the Dr and he suffered until Tuesday. My prayers are with your Mom for the antibiotics and fluids to get her back feeling better. Hang in there.

kamataca
Oh no--that thrush can be a bear. As hard as hospitalizations are, at least I always felt like there were people watching over Mom all the time....made me feel better, at least! Lots of prayers going out for your mom. lc46
Thank You All for the kind words and thoughts. My Mom is getting out tomorrow. They are treating her as if she had thrush-(not sure-they said they see some white on her throat) and she is on a pain patch and morphine-she said it still hurts but @ least she is eating bland foods-rice, bread, oatmeal etc... I'll keep you posted. Thanks Dar

laban
Dar, Hope your Mom is feeling a little better today. Bill had to be on Diflucan and Carafate several times. Give Mom a big hug from us. It will get better.
