Question about pulmonary fibrosis

Does anyone know anything about PF? I've read and researched on the web, but I'm getting conflicting information.

The doctors think this is what is causing my aunt's breathing problems. When it rains, it pours. 2 LC diagnosis in the last year in our family and now this.

I'm glad I quit smoking. I hope it makes a difference in my future.

I only know it in relation to cancer where radiation treatment can cause scarring of the lung area leading to fibrosis and causing shortenss of breath. It happened to my mom.
