dtay
Hi If anyone has a spare prayer or two could they think of my Dad - he gets his CT scan results in the morning. He has been on Tarceva for 2 months, with good quality of life, and the Onc wants to see if the disease is stable or if there has been any progression. Tarceva is Dads last shot as the Docs have told him that his tumour doesnt respond to chemo. I feel very nervous at the moment. Please pray for good news. I thank you all Dawn x

dtay
Thanks everyone - you really are the most incredible bunch of people, and I thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Well the prayers worked and the Oncologist told Dad that his cancer wasnt much worse - which is great news to us, considering 2 months ago they told him he only had 2 months to live ! He has been on Tarceva since then and we have been praying that it slows the cancer and gives Dad good quality of life - it looks like it may be working at the minute and for that I thank God.He feels good at the minute and we take each day as it comes - who knows what is round the corner, maybe a cure ??? Who knows !! My Dad is so positive - he makes my heart burst with pride at the way he handles everything that has been thrown at him lately . My Sister too, she cares for my dad and she is truly an Angel - the best. Once again, thanks for all the prayers. Love Dawn x
