Do/Did you know: Sue McGee from TN, or James Lyle Moe from Washington Donations have been made in these folks name and we don't know who to send acknowledgements to because they did not include that information. ginnyde Posted August 2, 2007 Share Posted August 2, 2007 James "Jim" L. Moe Appeared: 2007-07-21 James "Jim" Lyle Moe, 61, of Olympia, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, from cancer. Jim was born on April 16, 1946 in Everett, Washington. He was a 1964 graduate of Marysville High School and later attended Everett Community College and Centralia College, receiving his Associate's degree in Forestry. He served in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1972 in both Texas and the Philippines. On August 5, 1972, in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, Jim married the former Laurette Bordeaux, who survives. Jim worked as a forester for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources for 34 years until illness forced his retirement in 2006. His interests included hunting, the outdoors, camping, traveling, road trips, and working on the farm. He attended the Fountain Church in Tumwater. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Aaron Moe, of Olympia; three daughters, Jennifer Seward, Kristy Boyd, and Marsha Hickman, all of Olympia; two brothers, Arnold Moe, of Redmond, Washington, and Allan Moe, of Arlington, Washington; one sister, Alice Berg, of Everett, Washington; mother, Gladys Moe, of Marysville, Washington; and six grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Arne Moe, and a nephew, Dan Berg. Memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to the LUNGevity Foundation, 2421 North Ashland Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, or online at: www.LUNGevity.org A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at the new Masonic Center, 455 North Street S.E., Tumwater. July 20, 2007 at Cedars Health Care Center. Preceded in death by mother, Bertha Caskey Farmer; daughter, Susan McGee; father and mother-in-law, Howard and Ida McGee. Survived by husband, John McGee of Lebanon; father, Hanson Eugene Bud Farmer of Madison; sons, Mike (Kim) McGee of LA, John Howard Pokey (Kimberly) McGee of Lebanon and Eugene (Brandi) McGee of Lebanon; brother, Hanson E. Muff (Becky) Farmer Jr. of Franklin; sisters, Brenda (Gary) Dedman of Mt. Juliet, Ann (Wayne) Bates of Lebanon and Rhonda (Bobby) Parkhurst of Gallatin; grandchildren, Jacob, Clay and Brenden McGee of LA, Conner and Trevor McGee of Lebanon. Mrs. McGee was co-owner of McGee's Corvette Connection, founder and lifetime member of the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY, member of the Nashville Corvette Club, member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and a member of The Divine Red Hat Society. Funeral services to be held on Monday, July 23, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Bro. Barry Ellis will officiate the services. Interment Wilson County Memorial Park.
