Sis Posted August 15, 2007 Share Posted August 15, 2007 I'm heading down to Florida tomorrow for 5 days. No, I'm not chasing hurricanes. My Dad, who has Alzheimers, is turning 88 on Friday. Don't know how many more birthdays he'll know who I am, so I want to celebrate with him. We've never told him that Maura died so he wouldn't have to bear that grief over and over again. In phone conversations, sometimes he confuses me with my sis, which I guess is a good thing! Will be keeping you all in my prayers. Ann Posted August 15, 2007 Share Posted August 15, 2007 Ellie...So glad to hear you're headed down my way. The weather has been good for the past week, if you consider HOT good. The temperature has been in the very upper 90's every day. Be sure and bring some bug spray with you, as these little skeeters are peaking right now after all the rain we had.
