DAisy used to sleep on the bed with deb and me but when the tv clicked off she headed for the floor all the time. WOuld only get back up of she had to go out in middle of nite. Cold noses and wet tongues are weird ways to wake up at 3 am...:lol:

Some years back we had a dachsund who loved sleeping under the covers. As a burrowing animal, he would immediately dig his way to the "bottom" of the bed and snuggle against our feet. Felt pretty good on those chilly winter nights, once we got his fleas under control!

I had 2 Akita's that were about 140 lbs each-they both slept in bed with me until I became pregnant-then they both had to get out-I couldn't move I was so big. We put them both down last year @ 14 years old due to cancer. We now have a 150 lb "puppy" Saint Bernard. I remember reading-whatever you don't want your 150 lb Saint Bernard to do-don't let the puppy do-because they grow so big so fast-needless to say trying to get 2 kids out of our bed is hard enough so we never brought Jake (the dog) in our bed ....well ok-maybe a few times on Saturday morning when my husband got out-ha ha. It's actually nice not sleeping with hair on my bed.

He does sleep right @ the foot of the bed on the floor though.
