Dear Advocates Network Member:

Watch the first-ever LIVESTRONG Presidential Cancer Forum on MSNBC!

National Patient Advocate Foundation (NPAF) has joined with the Lance Armstrong Foundation in sponsoring the first-ever LIVESTRONG Presidential Cancer Forum in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on August 27th and 28th. NPAF is a partner in this one-of-a-kind event aimed at bringing attention to the plans of presidential candidates to address the #1 killer of Americans under the age of 85 - cancer.

To date, five presidential candidates have confirmed that they will attend - Democratic candidates Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Senator John Edwards and Governor Bill Richardson and Republican candidates Senator Sam Brownback and Governor Mike Huckabee.

The Presidential Cancer Forum will be broadcast live on the MSNBC website (http://www.msnbc.msn.com) during the forum. The Democratic Forum will be held on August 27th from 10AM - 12PM Central Time and the Republican Forum will be held on August 28th from 10AM - 12PM Central Time. You can also watch MSNBC's show, 'Hardball with Chris Matthews' on August 27th and 28th to hear the presidential candidates discuss their plans to address their strategy for fighting cancer. Be sure to check your local listings for the channel and broadcast times!
