J.C. Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Some reading about gratitude may help so here goes reflexions by Robert Emmons, professor of psychology at the University of California. “Gratitude Is the Best Approach To Life.” At the time it seemed a little presumptuous, but the more I think about it, I really think the title is true. When things go well gratitude enables us to savor things going well. When things go poorly gratitude enables us to get over those situations and to realize they are temporary. ____________________________ I'm grateful for the friends that are still in my life and also grateful for the friends that are now gone.
