J.C.
Today, I'm grateful that a friend sent me an e-mail after reading the posts about Gratitude. Here is a part of that e-mail; Be Thankful Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire, If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don't know something For it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations Because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge Because it will build your strength and character. Be thankful for your mistakes They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary Because it means you've made a difference. It is easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks. GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings. ~ Author Unknown ~ Would be thankful if you read it. nyka69
Grateful today that if other people really have to endure this journey that at least we don't have to travel alone. Grateful that Welthy's man is accepting the help he needs.
lilyjohn
Today I am grateful that most of the smoke has cleared out, at least for a while. I'm grateful too that I got a lot of cleaning done in here yesterday so my alergies are not as bad when I am in my own home. Other places is another story. teriw
Thank you, Jackie. As always, wonderful, thoughtful words. I'm grateful for my church family, without whom I cannot imagine awaking on a Sunday morning. I'm grateful for their never-ending support, their hugs, their prayers, and their love. I'm grateful for my beautiful niece Brenna who will be staying here with her family at my home to take care of my Mrs. Dickens while I go to England and Spain next week. (So Jackie, should I be grateful that I over-filled the pool and don't know how the heck to pump it out? Oh, okay! I can hear Bill now, "you did that AGAIN?") Hugs to all,
