Calling All Detroit Volunteers!

Dear Motor City:

LUNGevity has identified your urban oasis as a possible site for a fundraiser walk and/or run in 2008!

You have one of the top cancer facilities, the Karmanos Cancer Center.

You have a wonderful, active population who's supported us in our efforts in Ann Arbor and elsewhere in your area.

And you're the home of our founder, Melissa Lumberg Zagon (in whose memory we'll hold the walk).

You're perfect!

We need people who are organized, energetic, committed, and have some time to donate between now and next summer.

We'll need help:

* finding a location for the walk/run

* planning the event

* getting press coverage

* finding local businesses to sponsor the walk.
