Sloanie83 Posted October 2, 2007 Share Posted October 2, 2007 Mom went to see Dr. today they said one more day of radiation! He did a pulse ox today with oxygen on (it was on half though not whole) and she read a around 120!!!!! Dr and sister did there and she beat them! Dr said that means that radiation is helping open up some of the lung. She will start chemo on the 17th. They will do one round and scan again to see what’s going on. Oh yea almost forgot Mom walked across to the neighbors house w/ out oxygen on yesterday and stayed for about a hour and half then walked back across and wasn't really winded. This is great since she is/was on oxygen 24/7 since diagnosis. She has been going longer periods with out it and says she has been feeling a lot better.
