Gratitude - October 25th 2007

Thursday, and

waiting for the results

of the scans I had yesterday,

Grateful that I met a dedicated

doctor, my luck with the medical

field is changing for the best

even if the news are not the same.

What a difference a dedicated

doctor can make in your health

and in your life, that is my

gratitude for the day.

Thank you Dr. Beaudet.

On the lighter side, was

taken by ambulance to the

ICU on the 23rd, middle of the

night, was in my nightgown

bathrobe and slippers, the

paramedic just took my purse

and away we went.....morphine

and scans plus scans all for

my back........pain was less

and they let me out at 9.00am

with a script to be filled at

the drugstore and a long list

of do and don't for a week...

but I went to the drugstore

in my bathrobe to get my medication

and just looked at people straight

in the eyes so no comment on the

way I was dressed.....only my good

friend the owner of the drugstore

had the nerve to start to laugh

at my new dress fashion for shopping.

The taxi driver stopped his meter at

that point he had to much fun

looking at the faces of people

that were turning to stare at my

back.....after I passed them.

At least that was another day that

started with a smile

Now EVERYONE will be wearing their P.J.'s to the pharmacy! I'm sure you've started a new fad!

Seriously, I'm sorry you had to go to the hospital, but glad it seems like you have a nice doctor that is treating you well.
