Parents were evacuated from San Diego and are here with me in L.A. - they're still waiting to go home. We've had smoke all around us here in Woodland Hills, but nothing to be afraid of. Andrea Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 We just have lots of smokey air where we are. Outdoor school activities cancelled, etc. My mom was extra extra tired this week and we think it was the smoke. My surrogate's parents live in Lake Arrowhead and are waiting for word on whether their house was saved. They had to evacuate. Thanks for checking in on us. I know she doesn't post often any more but I pretty sure she lives in the area where some of the fires are. If you are able to get on line Karen please let us know how things are going for you. He said that he is in a safe area but that the air is smokey and dirty. My prayers to all of the individuals and families who have lost so much.
