Christine
Hi Everyone. My father completed three rounds of chemo (Carboplatin/Taxol/Avastin) and was scanned last week. We received the results this morning and the mass is measuring smaller, from 4.3x3.6 to 2.2x2.2. Additionally, the "soft tissue prominence" which is the return of his esophageal cancer, is "less prominent". This is so encouraging, and I am so happy for my father. Since he is beginning to experience some mild neuropathy, his oncologist is going to take it one treatment at a time from this point forward, but he's hoping to get in three more rounds. My fingers are crossed!! Christine
