Where to start...

We went to the pulmonologist to get an opinion on whether or not John would need a third brachytherapy procedure. We ended up not even getting to that part of the appointment because when the doc looked at his CT scan he sent John immediately to the hospital to be admitted. He had a pericardial effusion and this morning he had a window put in to drain the fluid off his heart.

He is in ICU and I think he is feeling much better with all that fluid out of his chest. Before we got the bums rush out of the doctor appointment he did say John's right lung was almost totally collapsed so I guess we get to that part later. If it's not one thing, it's another.
