babylove91297 Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Hi everyone, just wanted to update you all on what is going on here. I finally got the approval for the port a cath. Took long enough, but I was able to get surgery scheduled for Friday at noon. So I will be able to get my 2nd round of chemo starting on Monday. I am so happy that they were able to get me in this week, otherwise they would have had to put my chemo on hold. I have to go tomorrow for bloodwork to make sure everything is alright for surgery on Friday. I sure hope so. I really don't want to put chemo on hold....that would mean I would have chemo the week before Christmas, and I don't want to be sick on Christmas. Oh well, I'm just rambling now. I will let you all know how I'm doing and what is going on with me after surgery or after my next round of chemo. Take care everyone.
