Smoothstone
Today, for the first time ever, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously declared lung cancer a public health priority and called for a reduction in mortality “by at least half by 2015.” Good Momentum! The Senate has already passed a similar resolution. Time to thank our Reps. Short and simple. mail, email, call...its all noticed. bunny
Amazing - now we have to stay on our reps and senators to see it through! The Senate bill was intro'd, in part, by Senator Clinton, it was a very proud moment for me - that one of *my* senators was bringing such a positive lung cancer resolution to the Senate. luvmydog2
I Googled HR335 and found a bill to rename a post office

bunny
I found it here. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=hr110-335 it's a resolution, so I guess it's cited as "H.Res. 335" versus an HR.
luvmydog2
Thanks for the links. I never knew there was a difference. Guess I should have paid better attention in my school days.
