Audrey's First Son
I wish I had found this site 8 months ago. Mom, Audrey, was diagnosed in March and died on my birthday, November 1st, 2007 at age 65. Now that it is over, I am looking around and I don't know what to do now. I began searching online and found this site. I am hurting bad right now, I cannot believe how fast Mom was taken.

Ry
I am sorry about your mom. This disease can be so cruel and take those we love so quickly and sometimes so unexpectedly. I recently lost my husband and I am also going through life in a fog right now. I am glad you found us. Rochelle

Audrey's First Son
I just want to say thank you to all of you for posting. I am finding the weeks after Mom's death to be difficult in a new sort of way than living with her sick had been, equally as hard though. tiredmom959
My sympathies ... I just lost my mother on November 23rd. She fought so hard; I alternate between being o.k., taking comfort in the fact that she never suffered and I was able to spend alot of time with her ... to sheer panic that I'm not sure I can continue without her. I don't think any other group in existence "gets it" like the people here. Welcome.

Maryanne
My heart goes out to you as I also know the empty feeling of losing a mom, your best friend... Just keep the memory of her alive in that special place for her in your heart and she will live on through you and her loved ones. I know the holiday will be espcially hard and lonely without her but know that she is only a whisper away and she would not want you to suffer. Hang strong, you will get through these difficult times. I am so sorry for your loss. We are always her for you. Maryanne
