karlalong
My husband used oxygen for about a week back in August when he had his pleurodesis and during that time, he developed quite a cough. When he quit the oxygen, the cough quit. Well, he's been using his oxygen quite a bit again this last week and the cough is back. Is this just a coincidence or does anybody have any experience that continued oxygen use causes a cough.
Dave
yes it can..especially if its at a higher (3+) liter flow. Ask your O2 provider if he can get you a humidifer bottle to hook up to his concentrator and see if adding some moisture will help the problem.
