Guest Sally
Hi everyone, Just a quick note to say that my brother Gerry is coming home on the 14th November after a tremendous 10 week extended holiday at my sisters home in Australia. He was originally only going for 3 weeks (my sister due her third baby during this time) but asked our oncologist if he could stay on longer. He was supposed to have a check-up October 9th (finished chemo July 25th) and he said it was okay once he was eating, sleeping and getting out-and-about. He has been doing well; sleeping a lot and mixed appetite but feeling good which is the main thing. My sister is very upset to see him go, especially when she won't be home to Ireland until next April. We will find out soon when his next check up is. I'll keep you posted. I am so excited to see him again that I just wanted to share that with you all. Bye for now, Sally
