Question...

My dad had a lobe removed from his left side 2 weeks ago. Surgeon noticed that he had a few tiny masses that just touched the outside of his lymph node. Has anyone ever had cancer reach their lymph nodes and had a positive outcome in the end? Dr. says it hasn't reached his bones or anything yet. (bone scan) and a CAT scan didn't reveal any other cancer. I'd love to hear some personal experiences with this if anyone has gone through it. He's stage 2b.

Same thing here. I had two lymph nodes to light up on the scan. Had surgery and chemo after surgery. That was in July, 2005. Have had clear scans since. Was staged 3A.

(DUH! DON'T KNOW WHY POST CAME UP TWICE. TRIED TO ERASE IT, BUT COULD NOT)
