dr_lindac Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 Hi all - An update on my mom that I wanted to share for SCLC folks who need to read success stories: After a diagnosis of SCLC early this year, my mom has had 6 rounds of VP-16/Carboplatin, followed by 3 weeks of twice daily chest radiation, followed by a 10 day once a day PCI treatment. She had a single 7 cm tumor in her left lung that is now about 2 cm. She has had clean brain MRIs consistently. Her CT scan two days ago shows no change, stability, and no metastases.
