bobmc
Hi all; Got myself interviewed on local TV today!! Sometimes I think my life is just spiraling out of control; but then it is a life!! Attended the American Cancer Society Rally for the Clean Air Act in NJ and was asked to speak as a lung cancer survivor. I had a good time. They gave me a protest sign, I got to wear my CANCER SUCKS button and spoke till my voice went hoarse,( about 10 min. but seemed like an hour); This is not easy to do!! anyway, think I did well, just trying to follow in "uncle Dave G's footsteps" The message was loud and clear " THAT NOBODY DESERVES LUNG CANCER"; for my friends in Jersey, it was NBC Jersey news 12, but there were quite a few reporters there; Good to be a SURVIVOR today! God bless and be well Bobmc- NSCLC- stage IIB- left pneumonectomy- 5/2/01 " absolutely insist on enjoying life today!

Guest DaveG
Nice going Bob. I am also in a magazine article this month. The magazine is MADISON MAGAZINE, published in and for Madison Wisconsin. The article can be read at http://www.madisonmagazine.com. Scroll down to the lung cancer article and click on that. Also take time to read the editorial by Brian Howell, who is a lung cancer survivor. I think we have been doing a good job throughout the country as far as getting the word, the true word, out about lung cancer. We have to continue doing this.
