fillise
The man who owns the company I work for was diagnosed with leukemia a month ago. His condition has deterioriated rapidly and he will probably not last more than a few days. I am helping the family and the company coordinate all the public observances of his passing, so I will likely be absent for a few days. I might have some time to post tomorrow (Saturday) but after that it might be next weekend before I can do much here. I remember how nice he was when my mom was diagnosed last year. He told me to stay as long as I needed and that Icould work from my mom's house if I needed. I want to do everything I can for him and for his family now. fillise
Thanks all, I am doing a quick check in tonight. He is still hanging in there, but it is just a matter of time now. I wrote his obituary today. It seemed odd to do that while he is still alive, but the family won't have to worry about it. Susan

fillise
I'm back. He passed away on Tuesday, January 22. The funeral was the 25th. It was very sad. He lasted about 6 weeks from the time of his diagnosis. It's been a rough couple of weeks on everyone. Fortunately mom is doing well right now, so I am grateful for that. Thanks to everyone for your support. It really helps a lot. Susan
