Gratitude - January 20th 2008.

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

Grateful for the sunshine

but not the cold weather.

Far away in the sunshine

are my aspirations.

I may not reach them,

but I can look up and

see their beauty,

believe in them,

and try to follow

where they lead.

(Louisa May Alcott)

Have a good Sunday.

Good morning Jackie - it's -27 here this morning and no sunshine yet - hoping that is on the way! I also LOVE the quotes - I have a calendar with similar quotes, but not the same quotes as yours.

Nova - I wish Harry a very Happy Birthday and that he enjoys each and every moment of his celebration!

Grateful for my "church family" who supports me in my ups and downs and makes me want to be a better person.

Grateful for the dinner we had last night with new friends. I've known her in passing as our girls are in mother's day out together at church, but we never got together or became freinds until a couple of weeks ago. Just a few hellos and words here and there for almost 2 years.

She gave me a parting gift as they left our house. When I opened it, there was a card inside that said how thankful she was for this new friendship, and that she knows the upcoming anniversary of my mom's passing in a couple of days would be difficult, and to give her a call, she would be "here" for me...

I was so surprised she remembered.

I am so grateful for this new friendship.
