Muriel Posted January 21, 2008 Share Posted January 21, 2008 GREAT! Last Friday I had a PET/CT scan, MRI (brain), and ultrasound of my thyroid. Spent a miserable weekend worrying - esp. about something wrong in my neck. Today the Onc. said everything was fine. The sonogram or whatever it's called showed a goiter. FYI: I lived with a multi-nodular goiter for 19 years before it grew to the point it was restricting my windpipe (which showed on my CT scans.) found endocrinologists a bit frustrating--one had me on thyroid meds for 10 years, then the next one told me it didn't do anything for my condition.
