babylove91297 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Sorry that I haven't updated in a while, I finally was able to get the work done on my teeth on Monday. I had one root canal and another tooth pulled. Because I had the tooth pulled I won't be able to resume my chemo for another 3 to 4 weeks. So by the time that I can start my chemo I will have missed 2 rounds. I am kind of worried about the lapse in time. I still haven't gotten a ct scan and won't until after this next round of chemo, so I still don't know if it is shrinking the cancer or not. I try not to worry to much. I have been feeling pretty good, haven't been sick much just really tired at times. I'm feeling a lot better since I got my teeth fixed. Again sorry it took so long for me to post. Bobbie Quote
JB Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Well, glad you got that taken care of Bobbie. Now back to chemo, and you'll be all fixed up. They were looking for you here, glad you checked in. Prayers everything works its magic. Quote
Welthy Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Thanks for the update Bobbie. Glad things are moving in the right direction and that you'll be back on treatment soon! God bless, Welthy Quote
Don M Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Hi Bobbie. If you are feeling good, that is always a good sign that the chemo may be working. I just had to have a tooth extraction, but they said I could continue taking my tarceva. I will eventually have to do do a root canal, but I am going to put it off as long as it does not hurt. I hope you continue to feel good and can enjoy this short break. don m Quote

Kasey Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 I know I hated root canals BEFORE I had LC and chemo, so I can't imagine how you must have felt. I'm glad the teeth are fixed and you can get back on track. Feeling good is always a great sign! Good luck! Kasey Quote

Maryanne Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Glad you posted and you seem to be doing fine and so happy you are felling fine. That is a good sign. Missing a couple treatments should not be okay. Don't worry about it, you will be fine. Maryanne Quote
shineladysue Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Darn teeth, gotta have them, but they sure throw a monkey wrench into other health plans, at times. You sound like you are doing pretty good. Try to have positive thoughts and let us take care of the reninforcements. Will keep you in my prayers. Keep in touch. Hugs, Sue Quote
