Connie B
Welcome Vernon from Norfolk UK, Sorry to hear you had to have half of your lung ripped out, I had my entire left lung ripped out 12+ years ago. You might want to post in the LC Survivors Forum. But if not, General will work.
Glenvern
Hi Connie - OK I concede yours is bigger than mine... Thanx for the response.. Boy they sure put you thru the ringer, I doubt if it will ever get that bad for me as I'm now in my 70's and will soon be ready for the box anyway.. My Mum (Mom) lived till she was 93 (last year) and survived 3 cancers "Colon" "Breast" and "Lymph Gland".. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some of her longevity has rubbed off on me... . Nushka
Hi Vernon, I had my upper left lobe removed in 2003 and I am still going strong. In 3 days, it will be 5 years since I got that awful diagnosis and since my initial treatment I have been fine. Glad you joined us. J.C.
Hello Vernon, and Welcome aboard. You write like some of my friends across the pound. Saw your face in a few places on the board, will read what you have to say. Will get back to you somewhere. Jackie
