Redding is surrounded on three sides by mountains,most within a few minutes drive. 2 Redding is at the top of the Sacramento Valley. 3.It is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see, right now all the wild flowers are blooming. 4.Most of the year the weather is beautiful but once in a while we do get snow and it the summer it gets up to around 115 somedays. 5. Seldom rains in the summer. I love it. Thisgs you should see. 1. Whiskeytown lake just about 15 miles west of here 2. Shasta dam and lake just a few miles north of here. 3. The sundial bridge it is one of a kind. 4. The Sacramento River Trail that runs for miles and is very well used. 5. All of the many parks within the city. Must add tonight is one of the things I moved to Redding for. Kool April Nights is an anual event with sometimes thousands of classic and antique cars. It has gone on all week but tonight is the cruise where the streets are blocked off and they cruise for 2 hours. Can't wait to see it.
