J.C.
Good morning all, beautiful weather for the last week, really from winter to summer in a few days....... Grateful for friends that are a great help when needed, they know me so well that they don't offer help they just do it. ----------- We need to have people who mean something to us- people to whom we turn knowing that being with them is coming home. (Bernard Cooke) ---------- Good friends are like shock absorbers. They help you take the lumps and bumps on the road of life. (Frank Tyger) ---------- Have a good day. dadstimeon
Grateful for another beautiful day here-- had a string of them. Grateful for everyone and everything-- that I'm still on the right side of the grass. Could always be worse! Had the Boston Marathon yesterday-- love reading about some of the people who overcame great adversity to run it, certainly inspirational. Also Lance Armstrong ran (2 hours 50 minutes) it, I believe it was his first. Mentioned his organization raised over 181 million for cancer research-- WOW! Ann
I'm grateful for all the military men and women that put their lives on the line so that we can be free. This week, our county hosts the Moving Wall and the Vietnam Vets Reunion. We rode the Harley on Sunday, as a part of the escorts for The Wall. Seeing all of the Vietnam Vets walk by The Wall as they search for names of friends lost in battle really makes me remember how much we have to be thankful for. Our Legion will be cooking for the reunion Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I'll be up before dawn (5:00) getting ready to volunteer my time. And...I'm so thankful that God has given me the good health to be able to give back a little for those men and women that have given so much for me!!!
