fillise
Mom begins her radiation treatments to her pelvis and hips today. They can't radiate everywhere there are spots along her spine and ribs, but they did want to do the hips/pelvis since they are weight bearing joints and the onc does not want her to become immobile. She will have 14 daily shots of radiation. Next week she sees the oncologist to talk about the next round of chemo. I think I am going to NC for the 4th of July week to be with her. She is in pretty good spirits now that the shock of the bone scan results is beginning to wear off. She is maintaining her normal schedule though I suspect she will begin to experience some fatigue as the radiation continues. Susan

SandraL
Hi Susan. Good to hear the next round of treatment is underway. Yes, I think she will probably experience some fatigue from radiation, maybe not right away, but it will catch up with her. Take care Sandra
