wondermom Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 I just talked to my sister who is staying at Dad's for a couple days. She said Dad was telling her that the other day he was running water into the pond (Mom's project). It was getting low so he was filling it up. Anyway...apparently he had gone back into the house to do something and forgot about it. Then, a while later, he thought he heard mom coughing. Like she did when she was sick. He started trying to figure out where it was coming from. He went outside only to discover that the pond was getting too full! I guess she was trying to let him know. Dad always said he could never hear that water running outside like mom could. My stomach just got butterflies when she told me about this. Made me feel like mom really is still with us!
